NSA Carolinas is a vibrant, award-winning chapter within the National Speakers Association (NSA). Since 1985, our chapter has served speakers in both North Carolina and South Carolina, supporting a dynamic community for speakers at all stages of their careers, from newcomers to established professionals.

Who should consider joining NSA Carolinas?
Anyone with an interest in the world of professional speaking, including those seeking to become successful speakers, those looking to grow their speaking business, or organizations in need of dynamic speakers for events. Why should I join NSA Carolinas?

Do I need to be a member of the National Speakers Association to join NSA Carolinas?
No, membership in the National Speakers Association is not a requirement to join our chapter. While we're affiliated with NSA, you can be a member of NSA Carolinas without being a member of the national organization.

What is a Certified Speaking Professional™ or CSP®?
The Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) designation is an internationally recognized mark of excellence for professional speakers. It is earned by meeting rigorous standards for experience, earnings, and client recommendations. Only about 17 percent of NSA members worldwide hold this prestigious designation. Earning a CSP demonstrates your commitment to the profession and showcases your top-notch speaking ability.

Do I have to be certified to be a speaker?
No, certification is not a requirement to be a professional speaker. While the CSP designation is a valuable distinction, there are no state licensure requirements for motivational speakers. It's a voluntary certification offered by the National Speakers Association for speakers who meet rigorous standards.

Is there a cost to join NSA Carolinas?
