Description:
Are you a CVP and/or a VMP? This session breaks down what it means to become a Certified Virtual Presenter and the brand new credential of Virtual Master Presenter. You'll also learn what it takes to establish your credibility as a virtual presenter.
Well-rounded speakers with a consistent stream of speaking business understand the importance of delivering content in a variety of formats. "Speaking" not only includes in-person audiences but also virtual and remote audiences, online courses, podcasting, online videos and much more. Today's virtual reality world is showing us that there's more than one way to have a business in professional speaking.
Join NSA Carolinas for this special IN-PERSON event to hear from our own members how they have evolved virtually and leveraged various modes of "virtual" to enhance their business in professional speaking. You will uncover tips and techniques to effectively deliver virtual presentations that maximize audience engagement and participation.
You will hear how some speakers have learned and built virtual studios that position themselves professionally for both virtual and in-person engagements. You will also learn how others have embraced and created online courses, YouTube videos, podcasts and more. Our Speaker line-up includes: a Professor, the Owner of a Full-Service Corporate Event Management & Production Company, a Past NSA-C President & CSP (Certified Speaking Professional) & a 35yr Virtual Meetings Veteran. Be prepared to learn A TON!
In addition, time is allotted to learn from other Professional Speaking Veterans in attendance (CSP's and CPAE's), as well as an Implementation Session to 'Mastermind' around key learnings and document your Action Plan from knowledge obtained. For those attending in-person, we will have the privilege of two (2) 'Speaker Spotlight' presentations - ABSOLUTELY DYNOMITE!
Learning Objectives:
1. Gain practical insights to effectively deliver virtual presentations that maximize audience engagement and participation.
2. Learn some of the various styles of virtual studios and how to position yourself professionally.

Hybrid / Virtual Recording option
Yes, we will be providing a virtual experience through hybrid as well as providing the recording to all registrants! However, we sincerely hope that the hybrid / virtual registration option is selected by those who could not attend this in-person event otherwise. Only in-person registrants will benefit more from the pre-event networking, "hallway" conversations, "Speaker Spotlight" opportunity, and post-event lunch connection and fellowship. We encourage you to register for the IN-PERSON option unless there's no other way you could attend this event.
'Speaker Spotlight' Presentations
Our 'Speaker Spotlight' presentations are unique to NSA Carolinas and are only held during IN-PERSON events. Spotlights are opportunities for two (2) of our members to present a small segment of a speech in front of supportive peers to gain the experience and/or the feedback to make that speech segment even better! Don't be intimidated ... speaking is how we get better and NSA Carolinas sincerely desires to support your craft in speaking on the stage and delivering extraordinary content. Each 'Spotlight" presentation will be < 10 minutes. If the speaker would like to receive feedback after the speech, we will provide that opportunity as well!
A "rising tide" lifts all boats friends!!
